This thing is a mushroom growing on a white birch. The tree will die eventually but before mother nature have a great gift for the person who will remove this hard shell mushroom off the tree. There is so many things to do just whit this.

First slice and cut pieces of it. Once dry I mean very dry it will catch a simple spark from any flint and steel and turn red like an amber and you can use it as the best of all fire starter you can imagine.

You can make big large cuts and hammer them flat before let the pieces dry. It will burn for a very long time Ideal for transporting your source of heat.

The white birch tree who had the hard mushroom growing on it will die for sure due to the parasitic infection it will be a great idea to take most of this precious white bark and make oil from it again its useful for many many others usage. Let dry the whole mushroom then make a tiny hole in the middle. insert a wick, drop some oil you made before in the hole, let the mushroom absorb the oil then you have a natural candle it burns 4 a very long time and very brightly too.

And most surprising is the medicinal usage from this hard mushroom. there is some of the usage and there is real science about this. Traditionally used as a styptic agent, this common mushroom has been demonstrated to have significant anti-bacterial and anti-viral properties. Blood-sugar moderator, immuno-boosting, liver tonic. well grind it to powder then drink it in a tea. 

and that knowledge hard learned by a huge number of humans among hundreds and hundreds of years is 

quickly forgotten.

Toronto Hobo

La tour du CN dans le downtown de Toronto.

Toujours dans le centre ville de Toronto on peu voir certains itinerants qui sonts la a dormir la oui bon leurs semble. Toronto a peu de terrain vague dans son centre-ville, lors de ce voyage je n'ai appercu aucun érable à giguère ou de simples espace vert permettant aux gens de la rue de se cacher pour un bref repos. Donc c'est évident on en retrouveras qui trainent sur les trottoirs.

La Grey is now left in ruins, someone have been living there all summer long.

La Grey est maintenant abandonnée, il reste juste le strique nécessaire, et quelques vieux souvenirs, Notre hobo l'habitant des dessus des érables à giguère à été vaincu soit par le froid ou la police venus pour l'évincer à cause probablement d'une beuverie ou d'un feu trop fumant

Everything he needs is packed on the bike and he told me he dosent need a bed or shelter. I meet him on du Parc Av. and he was on his way for the south where its hot and where people speak spanish. All the way down whit his tricycle. thats what I call Eco Travelling

Bart Simpson parmis les ordures.

Bart, le bras arraché à passé un bien mauvais quart d'heure. Quesqu'il as bien pu se passé, Bart rendu la ou personne ne devrait aller. il est le gardien du campement de la grey que j'ai découvert pres des la voie ferré et la rue Christophe-Colomb. l'endroit as été abandonné depuis peu. Le regard de ce Bart fini étais diriger vers cette boite noire ci bas qui ma laisser perplexe une bonne partie de la journée.

Derrière les conteneurs à ordures j'ai trouver une autre habitation urbaine non standard aucun arbre autour juste métal et ciment ainsi que une odeur nauséabonde à proximité des conteneurs

Le fameux carton sert très souvent de matelas.

Et finalement une couverture abandonné la servira surrement au prochain habitant

Quelques modification ont été apporté au campement de la Grey, des murs y ont été ajouter et notre robineu à la moustache blanche as chez-lui un peu plus d'intimité ! C'est drôle quand même que les services sociaux ne s'occupe pas de ce sans abris. les policiers et leurs "Boss" semblent ignorer ce grave phénomène de plus en plus courant. ce campement rudimentaire est localiser coin Christophe Colomb et Rosemont à la hauteur du viaduc de la voie du CP. Plus de 15 000 personne à chaque jours passent tout près de lui et ne l'on jamais vue. Il tient le campement depuis plus de 3 mois maintenant.

Un des fait de Montréal qui est marquant c'est les Robineux, itinérants ou sans adresse, vagabond sans papier. Je vais aller découvrir et rapporté ou ces gens vivent, comment. même ce que ils mangent. de quoi ils peuvent se debrouiller avec ce que la vie peut leurs offrir. dans les terrains vagues longeant une usine ou sur une voie ferré il y aura toujours quelqun, un résident temporaire aux endroit ou l'on s'y attends le moin.

Ici je vais appeller cette habitation en tissue et serviettes: la Grey. Ce campement est sur Christophe-Colomb près de Saint-Grégoire à la hauteur du viaduc du CP.

Au Spot de La Grey on voit le rond du feu essentiel à la survie.

Aux Petite heures de l'après midi on voit bien que quelqun y vit dans cet abris. il me semble être une femme. Les Photo date du 25 Juillet 2009 mais je les ait trouvé le 21 juillet 2009.














A moins de 40 Mètre de la un autre abris rudimentaire. La boite ressemble aux habitation de sous-mariniers . il sagit peut-être d'un ex-militaire ayant besoin de peu d'espace pour s'organiser. il n'a pas de rond de feu mais un poêle Coleman a gaz ( la boite verte sur sa maison )
